WOW Term 2!
In term two we will thinking about the question 'I wonder how life is different around the world?'
Our text for the term is The Emperors Egg and on Friday 5th November the Humble Hedgehogs found a large egg! They were very surprised when Miss Neal hatched out of it dressed as a penguin! We then discussed the life of a penguin, practised carrying eggs between our legs in a penguin race, hatched out the egg and enjoyed a penguin huddle.
WOW Term 1!
In term one we will thinking about the question 'I wonder who I am?' We started with finding out more about the school as we hunted for Beegu.
The Humble Hedgehogs have been enjoying getting to know the #bankleazebunnies. We have talked about how to look after them and what they need to stay healthy.
On Wednesday 16th October it was Art Attack day at Bank Leaze. Year One decided we wanted our picture to be Beegu's space ship. The children worked individually or in pairs to create designs and we discussed as a class which elements to include. We then worked together to create our enormous picture. We were very proud of the result and we came 3rd in the whole school competition.
