Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Friends of Oasis

‘Friends of Oasis’ is an exciting new initiative for the academies of the North Bristol Hub: Brightstowe, Long Cross and Bankleaze; where parents and members of the community who are passionate about our schools can take a more active role.

We are working to create a ‘Friends of Oasis’ Board, made up of 3-4 parents and community members from each school. This board, along with a key member of staff from each school, will look at the ‘Friends’ focus for the year ahead and take a more central role in co-ordinating activities which the ‘Friends’ run.

There will also be the opportunity for other parents and members of the community to join in as a ‘Friend of Oasis’, and become involved in individual projects or activities: either for their child’s school; the school they are most passionate about; or to support a programme across the three schools. This will allow parents or community members who do not have the time to commit to being a board member to still play a part in shaping our community, and be active in supporting the schools.

More information on this exciting new project will be made available on this site soon.

In the meantime, do contact us about this new initiative – either to find out more, or if you are interested in joining ‘Friends of Oasis’ from its pioneering beginnings!
