Term 1 summary
Year 2 had a brilliant first term to start the year. They have been filling marble jars and joining in with all the school events. We have celebrated 3 Jewish festivals of Sukkot, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
The children built dens during Sukkot and tried pomegranate along with Challah bread for Rosh Hashanah which is similar to new year. As part of Yom Kippur, the children asked forgiveness for their wrong choices in the past year.
Term 4
Term 4 has been packed full of learning.
We started the term off with learning to swim in our Pop Up Pool. We have been committed to learning about the Global Goals and attempting meet Global Goal 3 Good Health and Wellbeing. We thought about how it is important for everyone to look after their bodies and their minds. Year 2 then designed and created a Yoga instruction video to help us achieve this. Please watch and join in.
